Sure,
     If you are using or planning on using php on your site, it's MUCH
slower under apache 2 (statically linked OR DSO). Apache 2 is a bit
faster at serving up static content, though. I haven't played with
Apache 2 much myself, either, but I've heard that some of the other
modules suffer some performance issues under Apache2.
