I would avoic ndiswrapper if your wireless card is supported by a
native Linux driver. It is an ugly hack that has unfixable design
obstacles due to the way Windows allocates a larger stack size. This
can contribute to random system crashes.

Did you download the certificate files and specify them in the
wpa_supplicant.conf?
