Never mind. Got my answer from Novell's website. My "other thought" was
indeed correct. There's tons more software on the 2 DVD's than on the 5
CD's. The Novell web page even lists *exactly* which packages the CD's
don't contain.

I don't have a DVD drive on the Suse Linux 9.2 laptop, but I was able to
read the Inkscape .rpm file on my Windows laptop which *does* have a DVD
drive. Then I ftp'd the file to my Linux laptop and did an install from a
local directory.

Missing Inkscape from Suse Linux 9.2

Hi All:

Recently, I installed Suse Linux Pro 9.2 on an HP laptop. The box the
software came in prominently lists, as an included program, Inkscape, the
open-source vector graphics editor. The mystery is that I can find no
reference to Inkscape anywhere in the system, not even in Yast when
searching in the "Install and Remove Software" dialog. Now perhaps I
messed up and didn't choose Inkscape during the initial install, but
shouldn't Yast still list Inkscape as a "Not Installed" package?

My other thought is that perhaps Inkscape is included when you install
from the 2 DVD's, but somehow Novell messed up and didn't include it on
the 5 CD's.

Thanks,
Doug
