[Wlug] need to test notebook

A friend of mine just got a used notebook computer, but it has no AC
adapter, and the battery is dead. He'd like to test it out before he
invests any significant money into it. I'm wondering if anyone has an AC
adapter for a Dell Inspiron 18000 and would be willing to bring it to the
meeting, so we can see if this thing will fire up. And does anyone know of
a good place to get used parts locally (like an AC adapter)?
